Crinan Canal - day three

The run of the tide meant that we didn't need to leave for Craobh Haven (pronounced Croove, I think) until 12.30pm. The tidal runs are strong and I didn't want to have to motor against them.
After checking with lock keeper Simon, that we could leave at the time we wanted, we went for another walk on the hill behind Crinan and got some fantastic views of the estuary.

It was a lovely morning with a warm breeze and we had the hill to ourselves.

On the return we got a sightly different view of Harmony in the basin.

We entered the sea lock at about midday and went out to sea at about 12.45 heading for the tidal race at Dorus Mor.
